Father of Cryonics Dies at 92 and frozen at Cryonics Institute
I haven’t looked at how cryonics have advanced in the past few years, but I hope that its improved a bit… š
Ettinger died on July 23 of poor health in his home in Clinton Township, Mich.
For anyone who has seen the movie "Austin Powers," one of the most memorable scenes was Mike Myers being brought back to life after 30 years of being cryogenically frozen. Many people, especially Robert Ettinger, have wondered if this could actually happen at some point in the future.
Ettinger, also known as the "father of cryonics," died July 23, 2011 at the age of 92. He had spent much of his life advocating the freezing of the dead in hopes of bringing them back to life one day.

Business? Or glorified job?
I have this discussion with people all the time… “Is what you’re proposing really a business?”
Either can work, both do, but don’t confuse them.

Get banned for exceeding Comcast’s bandwidth limit
I’d like to know who these people are who only use “four to six gigabytes a month”… thats hard for me to believe.
For the last eight years, Vrignaud had been a happy customer with Comcast. He says he never had a problem with the standard residential Internet service he was paying nearly $50 a month to receive.
But he recently took advantage of a promotion to upload his entire music collection into Amazon’s digital cloud service and another promotion that let him back up his system’s hard drive using a service called Carbonite he says got him in trouble with Comcast.
"I was doing what these services are all about, and I got cut off. I exceeded Comcast’s 250-gigabyte limit," said Vrignaud.

Diet soda is making you fat… too.
I don’t drink diet soda often, but I do feel like it makes me hungry… apparently that “feeling” is a fact. š
Diet Soda Is Why You’re Fat
Whoops. Diet soda might have no calories, but that doesn’t keep it from growing your waistline. A new study finds that diet drinkers might be even worse off than regular soda drinkers.

Android is crushing iPhone
I had a hunch that Android was beating iPhone, but this guy has proven that to a whole new level…
I’m sometimes amazed how the Apple fanclub of bloggers and journalists use so-called facts to make iPhone a much bigger success than it really is. Perhaps they’re living in denial about the Android reality. I don’t really care why. For a week, and even today, I’ve put up with their prognostications that Android is suddenly in decline before Apple’s Jesus phone. That’s simply, and undeniably, not reality. It’s pure fantasy.
Designing a Hot Product
This is article really insightful…
This type of mode-specific design is not easy thing to do. Iām sure the pressures to clutter up the Kindle with other stuff are great. But restraint is what makes the Kindle so successful. The iPad, a large smartphone, has not displaced the Kindle as many prophesied, and the two successfully co-exist in the world.
