Crash your buddy’s iPhone with this carefully crafted text message!

May 27 2015 Published by Richard Yoo under Ramblings

Just put “?? ? ? ?” in a text and send to your buddy! (no quotes)

Alternatively “effective. Power ?????????????????? ? ?h ? ? ?” works too…

Have fun! 😀

More info about this bug here:

A bug in Apple’s iOS means that anyone can crash an iPhone by simply sending it a certain string of characters in a message.

The bug – discovered by several Reddit users – means that when the message is received it instantly crashes the iPhone and causes it to reboot, as long as the recipient is not viewing their message history at the time.

The attack appears to be caused by a glitch in the way Apple’s iOS mobile operating system, which runs on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, renders Arabic text.

Edward Snowden on with John Oliver – Can’t tell if its funny or sad

Apr 17 2015 Published by Richard Yoo under Ramblings

Its shocking to me how many people have no idea who Edward Snowden is… or what he’s done.

Oh, and the “sending a photo of your junk to Gmail” example is pretty epic
