About the mexican jumping bean

Jun 30 2009 Published by under Ramblings

I can remember the first time I actually saw a mexican jumping bean in real life – it was 8 years ago or so… until that moment, I had never thought they were actually real.

Flash 10: Coming to all phones except iPhone

Jun 26 2009 Published by under Ramblings

Why am I not suprised that iPhone isn’t allowing flash…

Adobe Flash is the grease that keeps web video streaming. It is sadly lacking on almost any phone you pick up, but, according to the company, that will begin to change later this year. A beta version of Flash Mobile 10 will be available to developers in October for the following phone platforms: Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Palm’s WebOS. Nope, still no iPhone, but Apple doesn’t believe in Flash, anyway.

HTC Hero

Jun 25 2009 Published by under Ramblings

I’ve always loved HTC… they made great PocketPC phones, and ultimately I abandoned PocketPC and not HTC when I moved on to an iPhone (and now a Blackberry Bold).

But this new Android-based HTC Hero looks really cool…

And its likely to be able to do display Flash as well… can I get an A-MEN!?! 😀

HiDef antenna aiming

Jun 04 2009 Published by under Ramblings

Want to figure out which direction to aim your fancy new hi-def antenna? The FCC set up a brand new (and surprisingly slick) web page to help you out:
