    1. Zack Price Says:

Be prepared to have the urge to turn everything off after you use it.

I became a turn-things-off junkie after seeing how much wasted power I was using.

After I started killawatting things, I switched totally to compact flourecants, and set all of my computers/networking equipment/ stereos to hibernate or otherwise shut off when not in use.

My electricity bill year to date march 2005 vs march 2006 was $140 vs. $45.
